From Northern or Southern New Jersey:
- Take the Garden State Parkway to Exit 36.
- From the exit ramp make a right onto Tilton Road.
- Follow the instructions below for Tilton Road.
From Western New Jersey or Pennsylvania:
(Pick one of the following options below)
Option One
- Take the Atlantic City Expressway to Exit 7S which enters the Garden State Parkway.
- Take the Garden State Parkway to Exit 36.
- From the exit ramp make a right onto Tilton Road.
- Follow the instructions below for Tilton Road.
Option Two
- Take Route 40 East to the Shore Mall keep right.
- Follow signs to Margate.
- You are now on Tilton Road.
- Follow the instructions below for Tilton Road.
Option Three
- Take Route 206 or Route 73 South to Route 30 East.
- Follow Rout 30 East to the second traffic light after Egg Harbor City. Landmark is Collective Federal Bank on your right. Bear right at that intersection onto Tilton Road.
- Pass the Lenox plant on your left.
- Continue on to the Airport Circle(go 1/2 way around), then continue on to the Cardif Circle(Mobil Station on your right).
- Merge into traffic keeping right.
- Go past Shore Mall, keep right and you are now on Tilton Road.
- Follow the instructions below for Tilton Road.
Instructions for Tilton Road:
- Stay in the middle three lanes until after the first traffic light.
- Then stay in the left hand lane until Route 9 intersects with Tilton Road (approx. 2 1/2 miles).
- Continue through the Route 9 intersection on Tilton Road.
- Continue on to the Northfield-Margate Causeway and make a left.
- Follow the Margate-Causeway to the end and pay a .50 cent toll.
- After exiting the toll booth continue straight on Jerome Avenue. (The Jewish Community Center will be on your left).
- Follow Jerome to its end at Ventnor Avenue. (Blessed Sacrament Church will be on your right).
- Make a quick left (1/4 of a block) and a quick right.
- Follow one block and turn left onto Atlantic Avenue.
- Follow Atlantic Avenue North about 6 blocks to the Margate Library.
- Park anywhere on Atlantic Avenue near the Library.
